Claremont Creek Ventures is a group of experienced entrepreneurs and proven venture investors who share a deep commitment to helping founders build companies at the earliest stages.   

We seek out the best entrepreneurs and companies whereever they are.  However, we value our unique location in the East Bay because it allows us to reach a broad population of entrepreneurs and to work closely alongside outstanding research-driven “incubating institutions”, such as UC Berkeley, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, UC Davis, and Stanford University.  

We focus on information technology (IT) driven opportunities where we have deep domain expertise, including – but not limited to – digital healthcare, energy technology, payments/commerce, and online businesses.  We’ve aligned our investment approach with what we have found is the most effective way to build successful companies – staying lean, using capital efficiently, developing great teams, and a relentless pursuit of speed in discovery.
